Offices with own terraces, electric car charging stations, a parking lot for bicycles with showers, and commercial space – all these amenities will be provided by .big, an office building of 10 thousand sq m, which is being erected in Krakow at the junction of Generała Bohdana Zielińskiego and Kapelanka streets. It is Ghelamco’s first project in Krakow.

The construction of .big has started. The office building will provide nearly 10 thousand sq m of office space and 1.5 thousand sq m of commercial space. big is being developed in an excellent location, close to the city center, in the vicinity of the beautiful forest wilderness Skały Twardowskiego and Zakrzówek reservoir. The construction is scheduled to be completed in mid-2018.
”The project’s name is tricky, as it does not refer to the building’s size. Instead, it underscores the potential of Krakow and the location. I am convinced that .big will become a place which will attract great talent working on innovative solutions” says Jarosław Zagórski, Commercial and Business Development Director, Ghelamco Poland.
.big is a small office project designed by Q-arch, a Krakow-based architectural studio. The five-storey office building will stand out with elegant architecture and unusual solutions. It will provide tenants with easy to arrange offices (with floor space of more than 2.1 sq m). Some companies will have own terraces. In addition, on the first floor there will be an interior patio, with a possibility to set up a small garden. What is more, all users of the building will benefit from a 200-meter terrace on the roof, overlooking Wawel.
A big advantage of the investment is its location, which enables quick and easy access to the very center of the city while being close to some of the most beautiful areas in Krakow, namely Skały Twardowskiego forest wilderness and Zakrzówek reservoir. There are also Vistula boulevards nearby. big’s location encourages the use of public transport and bicycles – it takes no more than 10 minutes to get to the Old Town and 25 minutes to Balice airport. The building will be located near bicycle routes and the Wavelo station. The building will provide a parking lot for cyclists with showers and lockers. For car owners, .big will offer 148 parking places in the underground parking lot, and extra 7 places in front of the building. Also, five electric car charging stations will be ensured.
In searching for tenants, the developer Ghelamco Poland will be supported by Cushman & Wakefield, an international advisory firm.
