The Warsaw HUB office complex has received yet another award as a part of the prestigious European Property Awards contest: the Five Star Award and nomination in the category Commercial High-rise Development Europe. According to the international jury, Ghelamco Poland’s Warsaw project is the best commercial high-rise building in Poland.
During a formal gala, which was held on Thursday (25 October) in The Royal Lancaster hotel in London, representatives of Ghelamco Poland received two awards for The Warsaw HUB: the “Award winner” honourable mention in the “Commercial High-rise Development” category and the “Five Star Award”, which is granted to the best projects in a given category. The project was also nominated for the best high-rise building in Europe.
“This award is a great honour for us as we are among the best European developments. It is yet another award for The Warsaw HUB within such a short time, which confirms that the project meets top standards and will redefine the commercial property market,” says Jarosław Zagórski, Commercial and Business Development Director, Ghelamco Poland.
For more than 25 years European Property Awards have honoured the most innovative and original commercial and residential buildings in Europe. The jury composed of several dozen property market experts has recognised the innovative solutions applied in The Warsaw HUB as well as its architecture, safety, location and its implementation in accordance with sustainable construction principles.
The Warsaw HUB, Ghelamco Poland’s flagship project, is being built in Warsaw’s Wola district, right next to Rondo Daszyńskiego. It will consist of three towers (from 86 to 130 m) joined by a five-storey foundation with commercial area. The 113,000 sq m will host state-of-the-art office space, two hotels, a conference centre, a convenience centre, co-working space, and a fitness centre.
Employees of the complex will be able to access the building using a smartphone application or enter the parking lot via a license plate recognition system, whereas electric car owners will have access to charging stations. The building will also provide a parking lot with 420 spaces for cyclists including full infrastructure. The complex will be powered from three independent sources, and the tenants will also be able to install their own generators.
